Objectives and competences
The objective of the Law and BAM Joint Honours Degree programme is to provide training that enables:
- Intellectual command of the current law and critical procedures of regulations and institutions.
- The performance of management, consulting and assessment activities in organizations in any department: production, human resources, finance, sales, investment, administration or accounting.

Specific Competences
- Demonstration of understanding the features, conceptual structures, institutions and procedures of the legal system.
- Demonstration of understanding the legal system currently in force.
- Ability to identify the social interests and values that underpin legal principles and rules.
- Ability to perceive and incorporate the unitary nature of the legal system and the interdisciplinary perspective that it requires.
- Ability to identify and interpret the sources of the current law.
- Acquisition of critical awareness in the analysis of the legal system and the development of legal reasoning.
- Ability to make reasoned legal decisions.
- Ability to advise on potential responses to a legal problem in a range of contexts and design strategies that lead to different solutions.
- Ability to draft a wide range of legal documentation.
- Capacity for negotiation and conciliation.
- Ability to create and lead a company that tackles and responds to changes in the environment in which it operates.
- Ability to perform the functions related to the different departments of companies and institutions.
- Ability to draft, interpret and audit the economic and financial information of organizations and individuals, and to give advice based on this information.
- Ability to apply instrumental techniques in the analysis and resolution of business problems and the decision-making process.
- Ability to identify and interpret economic, environmental, political, sociological and technological factors on a local, national and international scale, and the repercussions of these factors for organizations.
- Knowledge of the ethic and moral principles and the legal and social responsibilities in terms of their own action and those of the institution.
- Ability to intervene in the organization’s transactions and financial markets.
